The Director of People Systems and Learning Technology Systems for the Yum IT Shared Services organization leads a team of IT professionals who provide support and strategic oversight of systems and platforms that deliver HRIS, Payroll, and eLearning technology Yum Brands and its divisions, both domestic and international. This position interfaces directly with IT and other functional senior leaders to define the overall strategy for these platforms to provide a world-class employee. This role also interfaces with external vendor partners to deliver the capabilities that address and support the overall strategy. In addition, this role is accountable for the strategic direction of the platforms and processes utilized to deliver these services.
- Develop and communicate the strategy and direction of IT Shared Services People Systems and Learning Systems, aligning divisional and functional leaders and inspiring their team on the overall strategy and execution.
- Work with a diverse set of Yum internal customers, both domestic and international, to identify their needs with regards to People Systems and Learning Systems, and work with a diverse set of Yum internal functions to partner with your team in providing solution to those needs.
- Provide a high level of support for the consumers of the services provide by your team, including analysis of root causes, effective IT Service Management to address incidents and quickly restore services, and strategic planning for future service maintenance and enhancement for continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching for your direct reports and team members to ensure individual and team goals are met and performance issues addressed, as well as supporting individual career growth and advancement.
- B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in IT related field.
- Ability to define, articulate, and deliver on strategic initiatives across an organization.
- Progressing experience in managing and leading teams across varying technology platforms and user communities.
- Experience with global system implementations, support, and ongoing step-change capability improvements.
Preferred:
- Strong vendor relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of SaaS and data & system integration platforms and concepts.
- Knowledge of Oracle HCM / Payroll and Learning Pool platforms
