As a member of the leadership team, the Vice President, HRBP partners with executives to establish and implement strategic objectives, short and long-term goals, and HR strategies. This role builds relationships across the HR COEs and influences change to meet the needs of the business. The HR function is transforming how it conducts business with the operations partners. This transformation is significant and for the right person may be an opportunity that only comes along once in their career.

  • Influence and guide strategy and makes strategic decisions with review of senior executives
  • Drives the talent agenda for the Industry Group. Ensures the creation and development of succession planning strategies, career development programs, development need assessments, and other innovative development strategies.
  • Serve as internal coach and consultant to the leadership team.
  • Partner and create alignment with all areas of the organization to accomplish company objectives.
  • Develop and implement organizational strategies for the human resources function to align with company business objectives and to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Human Resource function.
  • Identify training and development needs for the group and ensures all programs align with company strategies.
  • Partners with peers across the HR COE’s to facilitate alignment on the Industry Group objectives and create go forward strategies to meet the needs of the business group.
  • Promotes a positive environment and culture consistent with the core values and goals of the company.
  • Partners to proactively drive and influence programs, policies, and practices designed to enhance employee engagement, reduce turnover, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Analyze and report on HR metrics.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience including strategic HR business partnership and working in a shared services model.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior HR role as a strategic partner to the business driving the talent agenda.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment balancing multiple projects and embracing change. Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure.
  • Broadly experienced comfortable partnering with a Center of Excellence approach to the delivery of HR services
  • Strategic thinker, with an ability to contribute at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, managerial and organizational skills.
  • Unquestionable ethical standards and integrity required.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven leadership in delivering creative win-win high-impact solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and planning skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail orientation with solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop productive business relationships up, down and across an organization; and ability to influence and educate key internal clients.
