Your (and our) biggest challenge

We need excellent financials that make sure we know how we do financially. The FSSC is there to deliver reliable and correct financial reporting, and to ensure that we are in control. You as financial controller, play a big role in that. On the other hand, you are expected to tell the story behind the numbers and use them to improve processes together with your team. Your interest in (and preferably) your experience with the usage of BI tools and implementing automation for recurring financial processes make that your team can spend more time on the story telling and explaining the numbers.

You will be a great addition to the Record to Report team of the Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for the financial control of clinics within in the cluster. You will work with other financial controllers within the R2R team for timely and reliable group reporting. For the daily operational financial processes, you will manage the junior financial controllers that take care of the invoice processing and cash management for the clinics you and they bare the responsibility for. But it will not be limited to daily finance processes and financial control. As part of the SSC team, you will participate in improvement projects like for example automating processes and enhancing BI tools used or improving internal control at the clinics. We do expect you to pro-actively come up with ideas for these improvements, discuss it with the head SSC and rest of team and if all agree, take control, and make it happen.

• You have a bachelors’ or masters’ degree in accounting or controlling.

Our ideal candidate:

• Minimum qualification as a Registered Accountant
• 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting or Controlling
• Key competencies: Building effective teams, Drives Engagement, Manages Ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Critical thinking and a proactive approach.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in French (Nice to have)
