We are currently looking for an experienced operational Head of HR to join a growing business going through a huge period of change. Ideally you will come from a fast-paced business looking after all aspects of shared services, payroll, and employee relations.
The role is a busy one and is a true generalist Head of HR role in terms of scope, incredibly varied.
- Responsible for the full employee life cycle, ER, HR admin, L&D, and engagement
- Managing the shared service team to ensure the business and HR BPs are supporting efficiently with transactional HR requirements.
- Employee relations including disciplinary actions, and talent acquisition — ensuring the business is always compliant with the relevant employment laws.
- Managing the payroll team – ensuring SLAs are adhered too
- Ability to monitor employee performance through a review process for the organisation.
- Providing advice to managers regarding employee relations and performance management
- Improving and implementing human resources policies and procedures
- Implementing programs to improve the employee experience of the organisation.
- Extensive experience as a Head of HR
- Leadership skills
- Proficiency in office software and other software suites related to human resources, such as Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems (IRIS)
- Ideally you will be from manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics, Engineering or similar type environments.
