Manage telecommunications and network infrastructure functions for information technology (IT) environments. Establish business objectives, strategies, and plans in support of Company strategic goals. Manage and allocate financial and employee resources. Regularly participates on corporate senior management teams and committees. Establish and maintain external relationships with prominent stakeholders. Responsible for selecting, coaching, and developing employees and the management of employee salaries. Implement and support Company programs and policies.
- Direct Company’s telecommunications and network infrastructure for the IT environments including firewall management.
- Oversee technology standards and best practices to ensure effective operation of the Company’s telecommunications and network infrastructure.
- Establish strategic business objectives, strategies, and plans in support of Company strategic goals.
- Ensure that the enterprise has the capability to support new technologies and maintain high levels of communications performance and reliability.
- Plan the implementation and integration of new technologies through management of senior IT management staff.
- Develop and implement Company programs and policies.
- Manage and allocate financial and employee resources.
- Develop necessary policies, procedures and methodologies to support and maintain the voice and data network, including adequate network security.
- Ensure voice and data networks are adequately documented.
- Coordinate plans for hardware and software changes and enhancements with other information technology personnel.
- Develop formal proposals for hardware and software component purchases and participate in negotiations with vendors.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years’ experience in a broad range of enterprise systems, infrastructure services, networking, and related areas of IT.
- 5 years’ supervisory/management responsibilities.
- Experience in enterprise systems project management and business information solutions implementation.
- Experience analyzing and establishing IT operations best practices.
- Extensive management skills include the ability to establish objectives, develop and execute policy, direct and monitor resources, and recommend and oversee development or implementation of systems, programs, or processes.
- Leadership and teamwork skills to negotiate with and influence peers and management on policy and strategic issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills including ability to manage and motivate employees, use oral and written communication to create a vision, communicate strategy, and effectively interface with other Company leaders.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Availability as a resource for problem resolution on a 24-hour basis.
