Our client is a high profile owner/operator of a leading portfolio of blue ribbon infrastructure assets valued in the billions. Growth orientated with a highly regarded executive leadership team in place, they continue to build on their position of strength through large scale CAPEX investment programs and an aggressive acquisition strategy.
The Head of Shared Services will be tasked with leveraging new technology to elevate and optimise financial performance and operational efficiencies across AP, AR and Payroll, taking full ownership in establishing a best practice platform to support significant and sustained business growth.
- Determines repeatable processes for accounts payable, receivable and payroll services.
- Develops and implements effective debt collection strategies and procedures.
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives within Business Services operations.
- Provides comprehensive reporting and analysis on AR/AP ageing, payroll-related metrics and corporate credit cards.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies relating to record keeping, financial reporting and data security.
- Proactively identifies and addresses process inefficiencies, control gaps and compliance risks.
- Provide strong team leadership, coaching and development.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned Shared Services Manager with a clear track record of driving change, process improvement and establishing best practice in large and complex centralised Finance Operations Centres. Systems and tech savvy with outstanding communication and leadership skills, you’ll have the ability to re-engage with the business to formulate new SLAs, whilst keeping your team engaged and motivated.
