This position is responsible for design and development of global benefit programs including wellness programs that are aligned with the JFC Group’s business objectives and the Global HR’s people strategy. It shall provide thought leadership and governance around the design of these programs as well as drive changes necessary to move towards best practices, improve processes, and effectively engage all stakeholders, including business leaders, and suppliers. It will also drive cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at an affordable cost to the JFC Group and its employees.

The role will also take on total rewards account management role.

Benefits design, development and governance

  • Maintains global governance for benefits programs.
  • Design and develop the framework for global employee benefit programs such as health insurance, life and disability insurance, employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, retirement, and other benefit-related plans.
  • Work with Regional TR in the development of local/regional benefits programs initiatives that may affect the global framework and drive alignment, if needed, across locations and markets.
  • Analyzes and evaluates services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies.
  • Develops and analyzes benefits key performance indicators like plan participation and utilization for benefits programs on a regular basis.
  • Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations in the industry.
  • Collaborate with finance to maintain global spend summary and works with shared services to ensure the timely delivery payment for services of global benefit plan providers.
  • Provides overall framework for wellness and healthcare educational programs to promote healthy lifestyles and changes in health care utilization and compliance.
  • Surveys market to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits.

Policy Improvements and Documentation

  • Develops benefits policies that will address concerns and issues, improves the overall TR programs of the organization and ensures legal compliance.

Total Rewards Business Partnering

  • Monitors, reviews and processes senior level employee movements such as promotions, transfers and separations. Coordinates implementation of such movements to JWS.
  • Prepares job offer for Senior Managers and Directors and conducts offer when necessary.
  • Prepares Annual Salary Plan and Semi-Annual Performance Bonus of assigned accounts. Ensures proper and timely implementation in the system.
  • Designs and develops specific TR programs for the accounts.
  • Ensures resolution of TR concerns of accounts being handled which includes reviewing, analyzing, providing recommendations, elevating or redirecting concerns to proper channels.
  • Ensures that information on TR updates are cascaded to accounts. Provides consultation services on TR practices and policies.

Communication

  • Oversees development of informative materials from benefits vendors and partners, ensuring updates to plan design and compliance are reflected in the communication materials
  • Prepares and distributes approved rewards information (verbal, written and other forms) to the organization

Reports Preparation and Analysis

  • Prepares and analyzes regular benefits reports that will provide insights for recommending improvements/changes in existing benefits plans and programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree graduate
  • 7-10 years of experience in benefits (including wellness) design and management, preferably with global benefits design exposure
