The Colleague Services China Leader is an expert with credible experience in HR Shared Services environment who can effectively operate within an international, fast-paced and multifaceted structure.

A subject matter expert, who can understand the Global Colleague Services strategy and plans in order to implement fit-for-purpose Colleague Experience processes aligned with the standard methodology frameworks.

  • Leading and Managing People
  • Responsible for the design & deployment of the Global Colleague Services strategy to the region.
  • Provide leadership to People Managers and build a highly capable regional team
  • Liaise with the Director Colleague Services for the region to resolve any complex issues and serve as a point of escalation for the region
  • Establish strong partnership with Country HR Leaders, HR Business Partners and COE leaders
  • Ensure Day to day Operations are effective:
  • Analyze key performance data to recommend and implement continuous process improvements
  • Ensure consolidation and consistency of key HR processes & practices across the region with global consideration
  • Through the APAC Local Tier 2 Specialists lead all aspects of the delivery of key programs and support the improvement of processes
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of both new and/or changes to policies/procedures
  • Partner with Tier 2 Global Specialized functions to develop effective communication & partnership to ensure a smooth delivery of services across Colleague Services
  • Driving Continuous Improvement
  • Act as change champion, make sure that employee engagement is at the core of all change initiatives within the team
  • Take the lead in supporting HR Business Partners/Field HR as and when required (i.e. restructures, etc.)
  • Perform other job related duties
  • Work as part of project teams to share standard processes, focus on continuous improvement, implement changes and new processes, to build working efficiencies, reduce costs and improve quality
  • An ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 yrs spent in leadership role in a Shared Services organization with a regional/multi-country scope
  • Consultative Leader who can challenge the status quo and bring the Colleague Services agenda to the next level – this is particularly referring to the effectiveness of the process delivery, relevant benchmarks/KPIs, SLAs and the overall employee experience.
  • A consistent track record of providing a valuable employee support, pragmatic solutions that are aligned with the company’s business and HR model as well as experience in raising awareness, aligning resources, leveraging systems that are particularly useful
  • This is a visible and broad experienced leadership role in the organization and requires strong influencing, networking and communication capabilities complemented by the ability to lead effectively in a diverse internal and external partner context
  • Proficient English communication capability
