The Senior Director, Hub Operations is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of key US Business Operations & Shared Services functions including Sample Operations, Transparency & State Reporting and other associated Hub Operations supporting the US Market. The successful candidate will align and collaborate with all BOS Functional Leaders, other cross-functional support functions, Business Unit and Sales Leaders to ensure excellence in execution of both onshore & offshore hub deliverables while setting strategy, identifying business efficiencies, and developing innovative solutions to address market, industry, and brand opportunities.

The Senior Director, Hub Operations will report to the Head, Customer Engagement & Execution with strong accountability to the North American Leadership Team, Cross-GBU and Therapeutic Area Leaders.

  • Overall accountability to set the strategy, vision and direction for the prioritization and execution of Sample Operations, Transparency & State Reporting and contribute significantly to Hub strategy & operations.
  • Specifically, responsibilities of the various functional areas the candidate will be leading are the management of samples administration and transparency & state reporting onshore & hub oversight, strategy & execution.
  • Maintain run state of key management activities – staffing, budget creation/alignment, vision, prioritization and execution.
  • Coordination & support of Sales Operations activities including Quarterly Business Activities
  • Utilize technology to optimize reporting efficiencies across all Hub functions
  • Partner and collaborate with BOS Functional Leaders during budget, forecast and strategic plan submissions for Business Operations and the Business Unit as it pertains to Business Operations activities.
  • Create opportunities for efficiencies in brand performance through process improvements, vendor leverage and data analysis, partnering with the brands to implement solutions and track ROI; Recommend changes and make suggestions to BOS and Business Unit teams using Insights and Operational expertise to drive increased performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in similar roles, cross-business unit to ensure best practice sharing, drive consistency and efficiencies, and effective leverage of support teams. Especially in regard to Hub Operations.
  • 8+ years of experience in Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals; Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred.
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports across multiple functions in a matrix organization; not afraid to play & coach, provide transparent feedback and has a passion for development.
  • High emotional intelligence, change management, communication & financial acumen is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to drive change within an organization, cultivating support and maximizing contribution from team members.
  • Knowledge of modern Go-to-Market models, customer engagement processes and KPIs, tactics including Account vs HCP selling models, KAM & GPO strategies, hybrid selling, rep & home office orchestration, etc.
  • Experience working with, leading and holding onshore and offshore vendor or hubs accountable.
  • In depth knowledge of industry standard data sets (IQVIA Xponent & DDD, 867, de-identified SP/HUB data, etc.), systems (Veeva, Salesforce, Snowflake, PowerBI, etc.) and stays abreast of modern technologies, methodologies, and their applications.
  • Experience leading with & without authority in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to tell a story supported by facts.
  • Excellent Project/Program management capabilities.
