The position is expected to act independently with regular interaction with senior stakeholders in the country, GBS Director and Regional Controller.
- Lead the team to meet agreed KPIs and continuously review and identify opportunities to improve KPI’s.
- Lead the implementation of new technology within the RTR processes and identify ways to maximize benefits to the businesses in scope.
- Ensure implementation of policies, enforce compliance, and evolve them over time in partnership with the APAC Regional Controls team.
- Define and lead the strategic transformation of the function in line with global developments and industry best practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team to create robust succession plans, supply talent and develop a change-oriented culture with a growth mindset.
- Identify and implement initiatives to create enterprise value.

Essential Knowledge / Experience
- Degree in Finance or Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting to reporting. Those with experience in a GBS / Share Services set up will be given preference.
- Minimum of 7 years team leadership experience.
- Experience in interpreting and implementing accounting standards.
- Experience in managing migrations, process improvement projects and system implementations.
- Good command of verbal and written English. Good command of any other Asian language would be an advantage.
