Our Vice President of Total Rewards is an integral member of the HR leadership team responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating all compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition programs. This leader will build HRIS strategies to improve business processes and provide business expertise to technology solution delivery projects and operational plans. Lead HR Shared Services operational delivery vision and roadmap maximizing employee, manager and HR efficiency and experience. This role reports directly to our Global EVP Human Resources and will provide strategic vision and leadership for the design, development and administration of our Total Rewards programs.
- This individual will serve as primary resource for designing and implementing Total Rewards & HRIS strategies and programs that are aligned and integrated with business plans/needs to enhance the Company’s talent attraction, retention, and engagement.
- Superior ability to communicate, influence, persuade, build trust, and gain the confidence of and advise all levels of the organization up to and including the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
Total Rewards:
- Drive the strategic design and execution of the company’s global compensation, Total Rewards, and monthly programs while seeking to improve our processes, provide a better team member experience and scale with the business
- Build on existing company-wide compensation philosophy and guiding principles to create, improve and maintain integrity of compensation structures
- Global compensation and incentive plan strategic to integrate with talent management system and ensure alignment of company goals to compensation philosophy. Lead the Benefits Committee with oversight of design, implementation and quality management for U.S. health, welfare, and disability benefits plans, including analysis of plans, program compliance, cost effectiveness and service delivery.
- Collaborate with Director Talent Management to build and align purpose as a key component of our employment value proposition contributing to employee recommitment and engagement.
- Partner with HR Leadership to build advise and influence business leader total rewards and employee experience.
- Stay up to date on and ensure compliance with applicable government regulations including ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA and ACA.
- Drive team culture of compliance, accuracy and efficiency for total rewards including security, privacy, payroll, stock compensation, benefits and proxy filings. Collaborate with IT, Finance and other departments to achieve objectives
- Establish a global benefits philosophy that is balanced and equalized across a benefit portfolio, with firm understanding of variances between countries with mandated benefits
HRIS/HR Shared Services:
- Provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural, legal, and market differences
- Identify and provide strategic direction and leadership to ongoing Global Shared Services (HR) projects and initiatives and periodically evaluate service operations
- Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the People Operations team, including payroll execution, employee onboarding, changes and offboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS analysis and administration
- Collaborate with IT to establish and lead global HRIS strategy that supports long term growth of organization
Other Duties as assigned and the following:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and evolving regulatory requirements
- Designs and directs the work of the functional area. Selects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team.
- Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development. Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered, and performance is systematically improved.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 15 years progressive experience in Total Rewards and/or HR leadership roles with minimum 5 years in global HRIS, benefits & compensation;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or other related field, required;
- 5 years HRIS experience and system implementation with a track record of leveraging HR technology while leading Total Rewards function
- 5 years experience in global compensation principles and practices including integrated design and administration at a global, high growth company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Workday or comparable HCM systems experience
- Experience with M&A, integration, and HR transformation
- Knowledge and experience with Ceridian
