Novocure Poland is our newest office open in Europe and is part of a global business services team supporting multiple business functions including Finance, HR, Clinical and Operations and located in Krakow. The global business services organization within Novocure Poland is critical to Novocure’s efforts to drive process efficiency, standardizations and drive greater business value as the company prepares for future growth.
The Global Financial Services Site Lead will be a member of Novocure’s Financial Management Team and will be expected to leverage their experience and expertise to drive high-impact business outcomes.
The Global Financial Services Site Lead will also be responsible for championing Novocure’s strong patient-forward culture throughout the newly formed organization. Novocure is a global oncology company striving to extend survival in some of the most aggressive forms of cancer through the development and commercialization of Tumor Treating Fields. With a sustainable glioblastoma commercial business generating more than $500 million in annual revenue and multiple late-stage clinical trials with anticipated data readouts over the next 12 months, Novocure is preparing for a new phase of growth. The successful execution of global financial services within Novocure Poland will be vital to Novocure’s efficient growth and the Site Lead will be the principal architect and champion of the site’s value-adding services.
- Participate in the design and lead the implementation of global financial services at Novocure to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations, including the achievement of identified cost savings initiatives
- Build, manage, develop, and inspire a team of direct and indirect reports in the achievement of business and functional objectives
- Oversee process mapping in subsidiaries, and the transition of roles from various countries into the center
- Ensure financial services provided meet or exceed established service levels, key performance indicators, and annual cost targets
- Leading center of excellence for RPA and support the acceleration of Novocure’s digital agenda
- Setting up and leading central, cross-functional reporting capability aimed to address stakeholders’ information needs in most efficient and effective manner
- Maintain a strong focus on stakeholder management and be a key player in initiatives to drive a better customer experience
- Liaise and build trust with stakeholders across Novocure including finance and business unit leaders around the globe
- Foster a continuous improvement culture and identify areas for process optimization on an ongoing basis
- Develop a strong Novocure culture, through careful and successful recruiting, selection, training, and development of talent
- Degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading a shared services environment
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- RPA experience
- Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of financial shared service operations
- Experience with managing under Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics that monitor on-going activities
- Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement
- Ability to operate in both matrix and traditional organizational structures
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical or financial information to a non-technical audience
- Experience with public company compliance requirements preferred including process owner responsibilities for policy and procedures and internal SOX controls over financial reporting in a financial shared services environment.

- Ability to travel as necessary
- Fluent in English
