Our client, a manufacturer that supplies into Africa, is looking for a Head of Finance who is a high energy, meticulous, & driven individual, who pays keen attention to detail & has a get-things-done attitude.
You will manage the function of the Shared Services Centre & ensure adequate recording, record keeping, & reporting. Your core competencies will be to drive customer value, foster collaboration by showing authenticity, supporting partners, & creating teamwork; you will have a passion for results by establishing stretch goals, leveraging resources, achieving goals, & taking personal accountability.
This position will include preparation of management & Statutory Information for internal, board level, & external stakeholders. Compliance with relevant legislation reporting standards (IFRS), safeguarding the assets & interests of the company & its shareholders, & implementation of the principles of transparency & good corporate governance as they apply to the financial function.
- CA (SA) + 10 years’
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Manufacturing experience
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability & willingness to travel internationally
- Expertise in Financial Standards, Financial Consolidation, Auditing, & Accounting
- Expertise in IFRS & GAA practices, & ERP Solutions (SAP, BAAN)
