- Oversee all financial related matters where depth and scope relative to the size of the company.
- Create financial plans as defined by the board of directors.
- Direct financing strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management.
- Direct all aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
- Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes.
- Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation.
- Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.
- Be responsible for development, oversight, and management of the organization’s investment plan.
- Advise on financing options to support an organization’s growth.
- Lead and manage the budgeting process.
- Be responsible for gathering financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.
- Be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information to appropriate groups, including internal parties, government regulators, and outside agencies
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
- Minimum of 10 years of diversified business experience in shared services and accounting, business/financial planning, financial analysis, and internal/external audit.
- Proven senior financial and operational management experience in a growing service-oriented organization.
- Broad business knowledge and skills beyond the financial function and a highly regarded business partner.
- Must have 4-year degree in business, accounting or related field (MBA and Chartered Accountant, CPA or similar designation preferred);
- Recognized professional qualifications or second degree in Finance and Accounting
- Fully competent Functional Leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial mind-set with strong business acumen.
- A true finance leader who is skilled at driving value on the balance sheet.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company locally, corporate wide, and with external parties.
- Possess the organizational awareness and understanding of how to be impartial while operating in a joint-venture context.
- Strong customer service attitude with ability to deliver consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in a helpful manner across disciplines.
