This position will assume overall responsibility for shared services functions in operations for the Express divisions of the TFI International Package and Courier portfolio (Loomis Express, Canpar Express). As a senior member of the operations leadership team, the incumbent will lead the team that manages linehaul and project management for network operations spanning over 100 terminals. Meeting and exceeding targets on cost, on time delivery, productivity metrics are key benchmarks of success.

• Overall accountability for service delivery to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Provide leadership by motivating and developing Managers and building strong cohesive teams by way of mentoring and coaching.
• Implement programs to monitor and improve service, productivity performance and operating efficiency.
• Prepare operating budget, submit for approval and execution with full P&L responsibility.
• Appraise and ensure compliance with established Company standards, policies, and procedures, on-time performance, cost targets, and others.
• Ensure consistent management of Collective Agreement and a proactive resolutions process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 5+ years senior management experience in a medium to large organization.
• Proven ability to implement measurements & strategies to attain goal.
• Strong demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of mentoring and developing effective teams.
• Ability to collaborate with the leadership team and foster cooperative working relationships with their respective groups to achieve strategic company goals and objectives.
• Skilled in process improvement, analyzing information, strategic planning, excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal), and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%) within Canada.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years senior management experience in the courier industry or operations related field.
• University or College degree (in logistics, finance, or business).
• Demonstrated experience with forecasts, budgets, and day to day business administration.
• Working knowledge of French language is preferred but not required.
