An exciting Head of IT Infrastructure job has just become available at a multinational conglomerate. Your main responsibility is to lead and grow the organisation’s IT Infrastructure function within their shared services centre, supporting the business units across various regions.
About The Head Of IT Infrastructure Role
You will be responsible for leading the infrastructure operations of the multinational conglomerate’s shared services centre to ensure day-to-day business operations and long-term business continuity in achieving the group’s business vision.
- Develop strategic IT operations policies for the organisation’s various business units to keep the enterprise systems abreast with the latest technology
- Formulate and administer policies and processes within the IT infrastructure, applications, and systems to ensure systems and data are secure and safe for business continuity
- Review operational and team performance against operating plans and standards through reports relating to customer service level, material efficiency, job order efficiency.
- Manage the overall revenue and profitability of the department as part of being a shared service function. Manage resource utilisation in ensuring high availability of the IT systems within budget proposed
- Consult with all segments of management responsible for policy or action relating to compliance within area of responsibility to ensure systems and data are secure and safe for business continuity
- Develop talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching/training to achieve the defined goals while maintaining a high-performance culture
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or any relevant equivalent. Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- 15 years of IT Infrastructure experience with minimum of five years of senior management experience
- Knowledgeable in latest technology trends and demands
- Ability to lead and develop talents, building a driven and high-performance culture among the organisation’s IT infrastructure arm
- Great stakeholder management skills in articulating the business needs from IT perspective towards the BoD
- Willingness to frequently travel across business offices across states, overseas if applicable but not frequent
