This is a great time to join TAG’s team at a high-growth stage and build several key accounting processes. TAG is looking for a strategic finance leader to join our Corporate Finance team. This Shared Services Accounting Director will collaborate to develop financial strategies and drive analytics to enable business decision making. They will drive long-term planning, forecast, and provide detailed monthly reports and analysis directly to the Corporate Controller. This position will involve delivering important insights to finance leaders and require strong influence management skills. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably in a construction company. The Shared Services Accounting Director will serve as an integral part of the management team of operating entities it supports to ensure the BU meets key operational and financial goals.

  • Manage Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax
  • Manage the integration process for Payroll, AR, and AP into shared services environment.
  • Establish measures to improve performance in Payroll, AR, and AP
  • Work with AR and AP teams to shorten DSO and DPO days to improve cash management.
  • Work with Technical Accounting Team on improving and documenting processes.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly sales tax filings across our family of companies.

  • Strong decision-making skills and attentive to details, work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience preferably in construction industry
  • Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
