We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Finance Business Process Owner for our Indorama Ventures Oxides and Derivatives Division at our Corporate Headquarters located in The Woodlands, Texas.

As the Finance Business Process Owner, reporting to the Global Business Process Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for improving the finance processes to meet the business objectives. BPO will serve as the lead subject matter expert for the respective SAP S/4 Hana functional area. This role will directly support activities such as the implementation of any SAP S/4 Hana related systems/integrations to plant locations, identifying improvements, digitization needs to improve the process, and continued support after implementation. BPO will be responsible for role authorization mitigation review and auditing for their respective area. They will also be a key contact for auditors.

• Master Data Governance/Compliance –Ensure that master data is audited, processes are followed, and users are trained on the current processes for submittal. Aid in monitoring the SLA for completion.
• Process Improvements: Develop, plan, and execute ideas for process improvements based on business requirements regarding respective functional area. Maintain and administer all functional area process improvements with full understanding of detailed business and systems processes that interact with the businesses. Assist team in leveraging provided tools and fully utilize reporting tools to increase accuracy and throughput. Facilitate the review of standard systems and future programs to drive continuous improvement and drive efficiency.
• Facilitate and Liaison: Subject matter expert liaison between the business, shared services, IT and respective BPOs in order to identify gaps as well as duplicated efforts. Work with management to develop, change, and keep up-to date documentation for procurement procedures globally. Liaise with other regions to coordinate all function related process improvements.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical failures raised by super user’s; troubleshoot and resolve issues including errors, enhancements, and improvements related to SAP and other system issues; ensure questions and problems are answered accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritization: Manage function related tickets and requests.
• Role Review/mitigation efforts: Responsible for ensuring any role requests are vetted for that particular job role any segregation of duties conflicts is mitigated prior to submitting to SOD Manager for approval. Regular review and response to audit controls.

• Minimum of an Associate Degree or 10+ years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years SAP experience required; S/4 Hana preferred with expertise in the Finance module. SAP FI/CO experience required. All other related Finance modules preferred.
• Experience with and SAP ECC to S/4 migration preferred.
• Experience in the Chemical industry, preferred.
• Skilled in finance or related transformation, consolidation, and data validation, auditing.
• High ability to multitask and prioritize workload and achieve objectives in a timely manner is required.
• Ability to think independently, make decisions, and work through influence required.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to handle and manage conflict is required.
• Essential to have SAP process documentation and training ability.
• Ability to lead a project team, desired.
