Our client, a fast growing technology company, is seeking to hire a Deputy General Counsel to serve as a senior lawyer supporting corporate shared services and legal department operations.

This role will be responsible for legal support to corporate functions, risk mitigation and dispute resolution, intellectual property, and department operations.

• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating corporate commercial contracts.
• Leading litigation matter management, managing outside counsel, and strategic leadership regarding dispute resolution.
• Oversight and support for internal investigations.
• Providing support to IP, licensing, corporate governance, compliance, government relations, and supporting M&A transactions.
• Manage a growing team of legal professionals (lawyers and non-lawyers).

• Nine to fifteen years of legal experience with a major law firm and large corporation.
• Significant experience related to commercial contracts and litigation and dispute resolution.
• Proven track record of managing other attorneys.
• A strong academic record
• Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) experience is a plus
