We are looking for an experienced Business Controller in Germany to join our exciting journey in shaping the future of veterinary care, together.

As the Business Controller for the German market, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to support our business operations and strategic initiatives.
You will be part of the German Finance organization and report to the German CFO. You will work closely together with your two colleagues in the Business Control department as well as with the German Accounting Shared Service Center. You will interact with many diverse stakeholders on clinic and AniCura Group level.
The position is permanent, full-time, and based in Germany. Remote work is possible, but a commitment to spending three days with our Shared Service Center in Ravensburg every four weeks during the period close is required.
- Act as Financial Partner to the business, provide financial guidance, support strategic initiatives, and drive operational excellence
- Co-pilot the Market CFO and work closely together with the other Business Controllers
- Drive standardization by gathering insights and sharing best practices within both performance monitoring and reporting
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes
- Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to enhance business performance
- Collaborate with Financial Accounting Team to drive automation as well as accuracy and improvement of financial accounting processes and periodic reporting
- Lead or contribute to special projects, financial modeling, and process improvements as required
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience (min. 3 years) as a Business Controller, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role within a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
