We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Accounting Process Owner to lead and oversee our accounting processes across our Shared Services Center. This critical role involves strategic thinking, process optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial efficiency and compliance on a global scale.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global accounting strategy aligned with corporate goals; Drive continuous improvement for efficient and standardized global accounting.
- Performance Metrics: Define and report KPIs for global accounting processes; Provide insights for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives for global accounting process improvements, emphasizing the shift to SAP S4/HANA. Promote adaptability and innovation, particularly in the context of EMEA Knowledge Transfer.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards; Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with global SSC operations; Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with international financial regulations.
- Global Process Standardization: Implement and oversee standardized financial processes across regions within the SSC.
- Financial Governance: Ensure compliance with international financial standards and regulations within the SSC; Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global finance teams within the SSC, fostering collaboration and skill development.
- Required: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications: Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA.
- Highly valued: Additional certifications in Project Management.
- Essential: Outstanding proficiency in English.
- Experience requirement: Significant expertise in a Shared Services Center setting.
- Knowledge base: Comprehensive understanding of international accounting standards and regulations.
- Proven ability: Demonstrated success in fostering global collaborations.
- Key skills: Robust abilities in managing and engaging stakeholders.
- Must-have: Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP financial systems
