- Assist Regional Financial Controller in managing the full spectrum of accounts functions including financial, statutory, treasury and tax reporting.
- Formulate robust financial controls framework through regular review, updating and maintenance of financial policies, systems and procedures.
- Monthly review of entities month-end reports. Assist local finance team to resolve system and reconciliation issues.
- Managed financial master data to ensure alignment with the reporting requirement.
- Ensure integrity of data, systems as well as financial and management reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Prepares periodic compliance reporting dashboard and analysis with summarised commentaries.
- Work closely with global HQ, shared service centre and local finance team on continuous improvement initiatives and sharing of best practices.
- Provides guidance to the finance team, and updates regional finance training materials.
- Assist in annual transfer price setting and material costing analysis.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
- Degree in Accountancy or related field and/or any professional qualification in a related field (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum 5-7 years of related finance work experience with relevant working experience, preferably work in an audit environment & commercial
- Shared service centre role exposure (APAC, EMEA, etc)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a solid understanding of IFRS.
- Strong analytical skills and concern for quality.
- Proficient in SAP, Hyperion and MS Excel.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to work efficiently in a highly digitalized environment.
