This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Director in driving strategic and tactical initiatives under TDA Transformation; work closely with domain architects and key business / TDA stakeholders to ensure business focused, strong alignment and successful execution of the initiatives; and determine and manage the transformation backlog, priorities and risks when executing strategic cross platform business focused initiatives.
- Utilize program management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor cross-platform transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Apply agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive iterative and incremental delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, perform business analysis, and translate them into actionable project deliverables.
- Take ownership of the product ownership role, defining and prioritizing transformation backlog items based on business value, user needs, and strategic objectives.
- Drive transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Identify and leverage cross-platform synergies to optimize processes, technologies, and shared services across the AIA Hong Kong TDA landscape.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and adoption of transformation initiatives, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Job Requirements
- University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in leading and managing cross-platform programs, utilizing program management methodologies and agile practices.
- Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements, and translate them into actionable project deliverables.
- Experience in product ownership, defining and prioritizing backlog items based on business value, user needs, and strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated understanding of digital transformation trends and technologies, and their application in enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Familiarity with cross-platform projects and ability to identify and leverage synergies across different business areas and technology platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, Background in consulting or experience of project delivery will be plus.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and consultative skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Team player, strong business mindset and willing to take responsibilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound business knowledge in insurance industry
- Relevant certifications in program management, agile methodologies (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, Product Owner, Scrum, etc) are a plus
