With now over 1200 employees, BambooHR has experienced incredible growth over the past year – and in the coming years we plan to continue our steep growth! This makes the work of our Head of HR Operations, Technology, and Analytics both crucial and transformational.
Reporting to the Head of HR, our Head of HR Operations will serve as the leader for our shared services across the entire People function. You’ll grow our HR Operations Center of Excellence and lead the team to deliver world-class results for all centralized people activities that accelerate the business. You’ll do this by shaping our HR infrastructure, advancing the reporting and analytics needed to make better data-based decisions, and ensuring flawless execution of progressive people programs that will support our team members and continue to make us an award-winning workplace. You’ll also use your strong HR tech background to help us scale our BambooHR product for the needs of our own rapidly growing enterprise organization.
- HR Operations: You’ll grow our HR Operations Center of Excellence and lead the team to deliver world-class results for all centralized people activities to accelerate our business.
- People Analytics: You’ll spearhead our people analytics function, identifying key metrics and actionable trends and patterns and delivering data-informed recommendations for programs and activities.
- HR Tech: You’ll design and own the HR Tech roadmap to support our growing in-office, hybrid, and remote organization.
- Process Reengineering: You’ll evaluate current HR processes, lead process reengineering projects, and champion new ways technology can advance our people experience.
- Compliance: You’ll lead our HR compliance discipline, serving as our expert on new trends and laws and collaborating with other functional areas to ensure compliance and business objectives are met.
- BambooHR Product Positioning: You’ll learn our BambooHR product and be a deep technical expert as we apply the needs of our rapidly growing organization to our own team member base.
- HR Advisement: You’ll expertly advise on the overall direction of the HR team and analyze new opportunities to leverage technology across the organization to improve our business processes.
- Team Development: You’ll build, develop, and mentor a world-class People Operations team.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Outstanding analytical and process design skills.
- Past success creating robust processes and leading Shared Services at scale.
- Robust understanding of HR software — from HRIS to ATS to LMS and beyond.
- Several years of HR technology implementation experience, including developing. requirements, deploying technologies, process reengineering, and change management
- Experience leading HR reporting and analytics functions, expertly intertwining people metrics with core business results.
- Strong compliance knowledge across the spectrum of people-related risk areas.
- Deep understanding of business drivers and strategy, which allows you to provide dynamic people solutions.
- Very comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling tech company.
