At Post, our IT strategy is founded on the following five business objectives: 1) driving EBITDA improvement, 2) architecting for business agility and scalability, 3) enabling data-driven decision making, 4) fostering engaged and productive employees, and 5) effectively managing IT risk. This new role will ensure that Post’s IT architecture strategy and capabilities align with this strategy, along with the company’s business objectives and planned growth. As the Director of IT Architecture at Post Holdings, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure that supports Post Holding’s corporate business functions including a handful of centralized platforms servicing the enterprise. You will lead a team of IT professionals, drive technological advancements, and maintain the highest standards of reliability, scalability, security, and performance across our IT systems and infrastructure. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

  • Develops short and long-term strategic initiatives and roadmaps which reflect the goals and vision of Post’s IT strategy and related services
  • Acts as chief architect for Post Holdings corporate services, while providing support and partnership to the Business Unit technology leaders and their teams
  • Directs the successful implementation of a new cloud-based integration platform in conjunction with the migration to a cloud ERP platform supporting corporate business functions
  • Participates in a leadership capacity on corporate system programs and projects
  • Collaborates with program sponsors and functional and technical stakeholders to ensure that program and project objectives are on track and technical obstacles are being communicated, addressed appropriately, and resolved
  • Leads by influence and provides guidance and mentoring to the project team and the larger IT organization
  • Effectively manages integration partners and other technology vendors to ensure that Post’s requirements are being met and that standards are being adhered to
  • Holds vendors accountable for service delivery, including but not limited to quality of service and effectiveness of resources
  • Assesses the value and impact of emerging technologies including leading efforts to evaluate and guide areas of technology investment
  • Manages a team of architects through coaching and mentoring to help foster a growth mindset and increase the maturity of Architecture concepts and processes
  • Designs and lead technology projects for corporate and shared service infrastructure, applications, and integrations across multiple platforms
  • Establishes and matures best practices and standardized frameworks, tools and operational processes for architecture services
  • Leverages gap analysis and IT investment roadmaps to ensure understanding and gain alignment on opportunities of improvement and potential service risks
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Fifteen or more years of IT Architecture and Infrastructure Management experience, with at least ten years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading one or more integration platform implementations.
  • Expertise in Cloud and On-Premise application platforms and integrations particularly in Financial and ERP systems; Extensive SaaS and Cloud integration systems a plus
  • Strong project management skills, applying a hybrid methodology combining agile and waterfall concepts.
  • Knowledge of common end-to-end business processes, such as procure to pay.
  • Ability to drive results, influence peers, and lead teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Capable of building rapport and credibility across all enterprise levels.
  • Experience with Data Management Analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with IT best practices such as IAM, ITIL, and IT security.
  • High emotional intelligence with an adaptive learning ability.
