The overall Global Services Delivery Ops Lead for Finance Operations will provide leadership and direction to NIQs end-to-end Shared Services processes globally. They are a key member of the Finance Operations Global Shared Services leadership team.

The primary purpose is to ensure the teams globally drive execution around the command of daily Finance operations, and to be responsible for Stakeholder Operational Management with the key customers of the SSC.

In this role, the successful candidate will lead the team to proactively build and maintain strong business relationships with key NIQ stakeholders to meet organizational goals and expectations on process and operations.
An experienced GBS or Shared Services professional, the individual will be an accomplished finance operations individual, and combine a comprehensive command of high-quality service delivery and governance in a top tier company. They will be passionate about driving Customer Centricity across the SSC. They will help create and foster an cutting edge Culture and Work environment to drive Employee Engagement across our 4 main global sites.

• Responsible for managing senior Service Delivery leads of 4 main functional towers:
  • Record to Report
  • Procure to Pay
  • Order to Cash
  • FP&A
• Ensure timely, accurate and high-quality services delivery of Finance Operations throughout all regions in the NIQ landscape
• Ensure successful month end closes in the SAP Environment for all towers
• Will manage global teams at scale (ie >500 FTEs)
• Has demonstrated that they can manage Global Shared Services center quality levels through service level agreements, performance metrics and continuous governance rhythm.
• Identify and execute global internal control systems to ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies.
• Drive the teams to ensure full compliance with the NIQ Internal Controls framework, including SOX Compliance, as well as close liaison with our Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team.
• Will work in close partnership with other corporate stakeholders as a key strategic leader in NIQ operations, our Chief Accounting Office (CAO)
• Work with EIT, Commercial Procurement, Business Finance and Global COE colleagues to maintain best-in-class processes and application of policies.
• Work closely with the Shared Services Enablement Leader, as part of the SSC strategy and supporting enablement teams.
• Develop and implement procedures and operational ways of work in a standardized, efficient and effective manner for all markets in the region in the realm of Finance Operations streams
• Maintain thorough and current understanding of best in class GBS and Finance Operations processes. Keep abreast of emerging GBS developments and standards.
• Communicate and collaborate routinely with colleagues at regional levels, providing direction related to key processes and related changes, the sharing of best practices and keeping them abreast of initiatives that have a global impact.
• Deliver, standardize and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes architecture, protocols and mechanics and related governance.
• Action-oriented and on a mission, they will also be able to build strong, long term strategic relationships with stakeholders, partners, and internal functions.
• They will work extremely closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO) for each of the service towers and ensure they are fully knowledgeable about what drives best-in-class end to end processes and ensures that it meets business requirements and provides services that exceed expectations, not just now but in the future as we mature and evolve.
• Executive presence, experience working effectively with critical stakeholders in a complex structure, and the ability to make sustainable change through global process are a must.
• Has exemplary leadership skills, driving teams to top tier performance.
• Provide leadership to ensure global Finance Operations processes are aligned to maximize consolidation opportunities, achieve the right level of simplification, standardization and improvement, keep pace with changes in the business environment, and ensure key metric measurements benchmarked against industry methodologies.
• Leads global Monthly Stakeholder Operational calls
• Is an advocate for new technologies, including RPA, and be an evangelist for Citizen Led Transformation
• Set and enforce milestones and timeframes to achieve objectives and operational requirements.
• Successfully manage SLAs with a focus on driving transformation, anticipating hurdles, and implementing plans to overcome them.
• Establish effective, sustainable measurement and monitoring systems to ensure they drive performance management to enable effectives stakeholder relationships.
• Build long-term, strategic, and sustainable partnerships with a full range of stakeholders; understand what drives business outcomes and requirements for overall SSC performance.

• Focuses on harnessing the power of high-performing talent to create both SSC sustainability and for the SSC Finance Operations to become a breeding ground for overall NIQ Finance talent.
• Implement effective governance across all aspects of Finance operations and conduct regular stakeholder management sessions.
• Ensure compliance with the provisions of all legislation and corporate governance requirements.
• Take accountability for ensuring that team’s activities and reports are compliant and adhere to NIQ’s policies.
• Have experience of being able to work closely with Business Process Outsourcers (BPO)

• Qualified CA
• Good understanding Finance Operations, including R2R, P2P, OTC and FP&A
