We have an exciting opportunity at a Staff+ level to provide strategic leadership to help establish a scalable, secure & efficient Salesforce platform foundation through leading operations, key initiative delivery, and our Salesforce platform engineering team.
It is a Sr. Manager role. This role will provide thought leadership and will establish & manage operations for our Salesforce Platform team. This role will manage 4 Salesforce CRM engineers, 1 Principal Technical Architect, & oversee Salesforce contractor engineer resources, and will be responsible for project resource management. This role will play a global leadership role in driving platform assessments & roadmaps, and delivering platform governance, upgrades, & central capability initiatives.

70 % Lead Salesforce CRM Practice Operations & Delivery
- Accountable for establishing and managing platform operations (Agile ways of working, intake, escalation, incident & support management, documentation process, platform scorecard, platform health & compliance monitoring, etc.)
- Accountable for leading platform central team project delivery & support (i.e. upgrades, maturity assessments, modernization & optimization, POCs), focused on outcomes and sustainability of solutions
- Accountable for leading platform governance backlog planning, management & execution (i.e. standards, best practices, principles, audit, exception processes)
- Ensure proper alignment of security principles through data, development and configuration across the platform
- Provide thought leadership for quality accountability within the organization with well-defined processes, metrics, and goals for process quality.
- Must be able to define and report “progress” on strategic initiates and project level tasks to all stakeholders including senior executives, clients and use effective communication approaches with each constituency.
- Implement metrics driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.
- Build strong relationships within D&T to enable effective management of the Salesforce platform
- Partner across Core Platforms – SAP, ServiceNow, MSFT, Salesforce – to look for synergies, best practices and knowledge sharing to enhance our platforms
- Collaborate with relevant technical leaders or stakeholders on various capability needs & capacity planning to support future business & governance requirements
- Collaborate with different enterprise teams (Application Developers, Analysts, Solution Managers, Cloud and Infra Engineering, etc).
- Partner to lead overall platform strategy & glidepath, CRM community stewardship, external benchmarking, boarder stakeholder Salesforce training opportunities
- Engage, influence, and evangelize technical practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.
- 15+ years of management experience
- 7+ years of related experience (including management of people)
- Strong leadership & people management skills

- Prior successful experience as a Salesforce Admin/Engineer
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Architect, Developer, Consultant)
- Understanding of CPG industry
