Vice President – GBS Global Statutory, Treasury, Operational Transfer Pricing and Dublin Site Leader

The Global GBS Statutory, Treasury, Transfer Pricing and Dublin Site Leader sets the strategic direction and oversees operational execution for supported services for Pfizer. The lead will have a dual role, responsible for the Dublin site and responsible for design, optimization, and execution globally of the following processes and supporting functions:
- Local Statutory Accounting and Reporting
- Transfer Pricing
- Treasury
- Lead an integrated culture across the Dublin site to ensure a respect for diversity and inclusion across the functions, and drive colleague engagement (Great Place to Work) initiatives locally.
- Partner with Global Process Leads and other functions on key initiatives across the Dublin site including talent planning and development, external reputation. Work with Universities on programs to attract new talent and represent GBS on external forums
- Support the development of the GBS Trusted Partnership Strategy and provide the front face for strategic partners within the region
- Global Process Design and Continuous Improvement
- Operating Model Design and Continuous Improvement
- Accountable for timely submission of Statutory financial statements to local authorities for all international Pfizer Legal Entities (150+).
- Accountable for market operations team across all international markets who are responsible for accounting related matters for the local legal entity (150+) as well representing local Board of Directors as applicable`
- Responsible ~$12B for FX Open Hedges
- Responsible for ~$13B on transfer pricing recharges (profit adjustments)
- Review performance metric dashboards to ensure that resources across assigned teams are properly utilized and implement improvement initiatives accordingly.
- Play a key role in the development of global financial processes and enhancing the capacity of the group.
- Work with Controllers, Tax, PGS Finance, Corporate Audit, Commercial Business Partners (Country Managers) and KPMG in all aspects of Global Statutory, Treasury and Transfer Pricing to ensure accuracy of the Pfizer Financial Statements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- CPA or Chartered of Accountant accreditation is required
- Minimum 20 years relevant experience required
- Experienced in leading and managing a large scale organization with a global footprint
- Experienced in designing and executing organizational transformation and associated change management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and manage an effective team of highly qualified and culturally diverse professionals
- Management experience and demonstrated proficiency in team and matrix leadership
- Leadership: Excellent and proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal / relationship management skills, including executive level interactions within company and external suppliers; successful experience managing managers and colleagues across wide spectrum of cultures and geographies; high performance history of providing clear direction, team alignment, executing priorities and delivering results.
