This organisation are recruiting a Head of Financial Services to join the team in Sheffield.

• Providing leadership, decision-making and coaching to enable the function to effectively support the wider business and robustly manage working capital
• Supporting the department on the back of a period of transition, you will provide robust leadership and the ability to support a team.
• As the best in class financial manager, you will have the confidence and ability to engage and energise the team to deliver fantastic performance.
• Management and oversight of all staff within the financial function
• Drive the procedures improvement and formalisation from orders to cash and inventory transactions in conjunction with the other department managers
• Actively promote diversity and a variety of perspectives across the organisation

• Proven experience within a senior role within a finance function
• Member of a recognised UK accounting body
• Proven track record of leading a financial services operation
• Experience of building and leading in high quality, results focussed teams
• #Experience of providing vibrant compassionate leadership to a team of senior managers
• Track record of partnering with and influencing executives on product initiatives. Ability to gain organisational buy in
• Proven track record of understanding & presenting complex financial information, together with preparing, monitoring and reviewing financial plans
• Strong core accounting and internal control experience
• An excellent leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network
