This role is responsible for and mandated to drive the Global Procure to Pay (PTP) enterprise strategy and its continued enhancement in support of delivering Global Business objectives. Owning the performance of this function, leading a global team of PTP and identifying, designing and leading the individual business process transformation initiatives. This role will be expected to drive Global Business Services (GBS) through its next phase by creating value through consumer-centric and innovative solutions.
Accountabilities
- Process Design: Defining the standard process for the organization, identifying process inputs and outputs, designing the process steps and workflows, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and goals.
- Process Optimization: Continuously monitoring the performance of the process, identifying opportunities for improvement, driving process improvement initiatives, and working with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensuring that the process is compliant with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, monitoring adherence to internal controls and mitigating risks.
- Performance Metrics: Defining, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the process, using data and analytics to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, building relationships and promoting the value of the process, gathering feedback, and incorporating suggestions for improvement.
- Change Management: Ensuring that changes to the process are effectively communicated to all stakeholders, assessing the impact of changes on the organization, and ensuring that all necessary training and support is provided.
- Process Standardization: Ensuring that the process is consistent and standardized across all regions, functions, and business units, driving the adoption of best practices and sharing knowledge and expertise across the organization.
Job Role And Responsibilities
- Owns performance, process design and technology enablement.
- Ensure understanding of the capabilities and functionality available to leverage our current assets optimally.
- Partner with IT to understand the gaps in our current technology ecosystem and define our technology roadmap.
- Leverage technology, working towards an end-to-end tool set, including self-service tools.
- Ensure all facets of the business solution are accounted for and define an end-to-end process which encompasses all elements of the solution.
- Define and own the SLA and KPI to measure end-to-end process performance, efficiency, and quality.
- The GPO will be responsible for going before the CAPEX and Financial committees, presenting the business cases for the initiatives identified and requesting funding to support such.
- Build strategic partnerships with external best-in-class companies to accelerate the transformation journey, increasing Enterprise value.
- Actively seeks opportunities to innovate and source best practices in terms of process strategy, improvement, performance, engagement, and governance.
- Directing a team of people dedicated to the success and realization of the intended business outcome
- Deep understanding of the Record to report issues and processes in the FMCG/CPG industry, and how these processes interact with sales, finance & logistics functions in the market.
- Strong knowledge & expertise in PTP market-leading technology: SAP, Coupa, Brassware
- Experience in owning the end-to-end process in a large-scale multinational company.
- Solid background in understanding data creation, data flows, quality, and management, related to PTP processes, Master data mapping etc.
- Experience leading special projects (short-term and long-term initiatives)
