As a Financial Controller for Holding Staff, Shared Service Centers and Divisions, you are the key to financial management. Each month is all about improvement, focusing on the principles of ‘First Time Right’ and ‘Straight Through Processing’. You analyze monthly and quarterly reports, advise colleagues on costs and FTE issues, and ensure the Accuracy, Timeliness and Completeness of reported costs. In addition, you play a crucial role in the transition from Fico1 to Fico Generic and you are involved in further optimization efforts.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly reports, including informing and advising colleagues in various business units.
- Ensuring the Accuracy, Timeliness and Completeness of reported costs through analyzes and adjustments during the month-end closing.
- Supporting projects and ad-hoc questions from management, with a specific focus on the transition from Sap Fico1 to Sap Fico Generic in 2024.
- Proactively initiate and implement (digital) improvements within the work environment, where you take the initiative and direct

The team has a management function for Achmea’s financial control processes, in particular costs and FTEs. Activities can be roughly divided into two focus areas:
- Focus area planning & control: with the scope of costs and FTE for holding staffs, shared service centers and divisions, as well as monitoring and, where necessary, optimizing integral financial management of group companies of the Other Segment and business control activities for holding staffs.
- Focus area dashboarding and allocation tooling: development and management of digital reports/dashboarding for (cost and FTE related) management information as well as tooling for and processing cost allocations (both to Otso’s and products).
- At least a completed relevant HBO education.
- At least 3 years of work experience in financial control and/or accounting/reporting functions, with strong analytical skills.
- Substantive knowledge that you can convey transparently, both in writing and orally.
- Curious, good communication skills and an open mind. You are flexible, energetic and have perseverance.
