Aquaporin is a rapidly growing Danish cleantech company that develops a unique biomimetic membrane technology dedicated to optimizing water purification using industrial biotechnology techniques and thinking.

You will have more than 80 colleagues globally with more than 20 different nationalities, which is why good English skills are necessary. Group Finance is a small team, consisting of a Group Financial Controller, potentially you, as well as 2 experienced accountants and a student assistant, with direct reporting to the VP Finance, who reports to the Group CFO. We are a harmonious and well-established department with room for even more good processes, routines and you. Group Finance functions as a shared service center where we are responsible for the financial tasks in all the group’s companies, which in addition to the head office in Denmark also includes smaller companies in the USA, Singapore, China and Turkey.

• consolidation of group figures, as well as preparation of internal monthly and quarterly reports
• Preparation of external annual report and interim report according to IFRS and ÅRL
• preparation of quarterly budgets and preparation of forecasts
• ensuring the data quality in our systems and all our reporting, as well as ongoing cost follow-up
• reporting to local authorities for both the parent company in Denmark and for subsidiaries in Singapore, the USA and China
• preparation of tax calculation and tax return
• further development and improvement of internal control processes
• responsibility for reporting subsidy accounts

• either have a background as an accountant or have become familiar with financial controlling, perhaps from a consultancy or a medium-sized company
• have an HD, bachelor’s or master’s degree in auditing or accounting and finance
• has solid knowledge in consolidation, finance and management reporting
• has a solid understanding of IFRS, ÅRL, auditing, tax and budgeting
• has the ability to handle several projects at once without losing the overview, is data-driven and has good analytical skills
• speak and write English fluently as it is our company language
