Hubbell is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (AI CoE). As a techno-functional Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption and integration of AI & IA initiatives throughout the organization. This includes raising awareness, designing and deploying solutions, managing important metrics, and supporting the entire lifecycle of these initiatives. You will also be responsible for assisting with demand generation, pipeline management, solution architecture, tracking performance metrics, and other key performance indicators of the CoE. This position will report directly to the Head of AI CoE.

AI Advocacy: Champion the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation across the enterprise, facilitating Art of the Possible workshops, helping understand the potential solutions, and drive discussions to convert use cases to projects

Strategic Leadership: Translate strategic objectives into operational plans to deliver the organization’s transformation vision

Solution Architecture: Guide and drive solution architecture conversations in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Automation, and Robotic Process Automation with both internal teams and external vendors enabling development of sustainable technology solutions

Project management: Oversee project execution to guarantee that commitments are fulfilled, and tangible business value is realized. Ensure the delivery of projects aligns with agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards, while maintaining overall accountability of realizing business benefits with the business stakeholders

Process analysis: Lead Process analysis discussions with business partners and process owners to identify opportunities for automation, required technology intervention and building the business case

Project Pipeline management: Support in building the AI & IA project pipeline, ensuring timely progression, resource allocation, and prioritization in line with strategic goals

Financials tracking and reporting: Track the CoE’s financials, including supporting in budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and reporting to ensure optimal utilization of resources and delivering value to the organization

Cross-Functional collaboration: Work closely with different BUS and organization functions to identify potential AI applications, assimilate requirements and ensure smooth project takeoffs

Stakeholder communication: Regularly engage with internal and external (Vendor) stakeholders at all levels to gather required information, provide updates on AI CoE progress, achievements, and challenges

Mentorship: Provides guidance to junior resources on best practices, qualification, and development techniques for AI processes

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business administration, Management or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Project Management will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, of which 3+ years must be within Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and Intelligent Automation technologies
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Architecture and Design principles creating Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation solutions
  • Demonstrated experience to develop and manage project pipelines and financials
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for understanding and interpreting data and metrics
  • Experience coordinating and leading multiple development and testing teams
  • Experience leading standard SDLC processes and change control disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a passion for driving innovation within an organization
Preferred qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of Automation technologies, Solution Architecture, and Business process re-engineering
  • Skillful in managing change and driving technology adoption within an enterprise
  • Experience in orchestrating workshops, identifying automation opportunities, managing automation programs and projects in SAP or similar ERP environment
  • Demonstrable experience in executing POCs, and Pilot projects to validate automation technologies and create comparative analysis reports
  • Experience in complementary technologies (.Net, C++) including Data Analytics
  • Experience in Generative AI, Conversational AI is a huge plus
  • Excellent Power point and Excel skills
