Reporting to and working in close partnership with the Director, Global Mobility Shared Services, this role will be responsible for defining and implementing globally consistent and optimized processes and ways of working for the Global Mobility function within AtkinsRéalis. The incumbent will be based in Bangalore, India and will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Global Mobility function, the broader HR function, Expatriate Taxation and colleagues in the IT function responsible for core HR systems.
AtkinsRéalis support cross border talent assignments globally through a comprehensive suite of mobility policies to meet the needs of varying assignment types and durations. The Global Mobility function is comprised of teams based predominantly in Montreal, Canada and Bangalore, India. Mobility operations are centralized and supported by a team in Bangalore.
- Understand the organizations talent mobility strategy, policies, execution plans and challenges
- Build trusted relationships with Total Reward / Global Mobility leadership, Expatriate Tax, HR, IT, external vendors & other relevant stakeholders
- Participate as the operational excellence lead on the Global Mobility Leadership Team
- Working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders define revised global mobility processes and ways of working to:
- Achieve global consistency of operations
- Maximize automation and system integration
- Seek opportunities to leverage and standardize services provided by external vendors
- Balance the need for efficient and timely process operation with the need for excellence in employee support
- Working closely with the Director, Global Mobility Shared Services, develop and implement a change management plan to ensure successful delivery and embedding of the new processes and ways of working
- Project manage the implementation of the changes needed using Total Reward project management methodology and tools
- Work with the People Hub in Bangalore identifying transactions which can transition into a transactions center of excellence
- Develop and implement comprehensive management reporting tools to support the ongoing monitoring and management of the Global Mobility function
- Develop and manage a framework to enable ongoing continuous improvement within the Global Mobility function
- Exemplary process documentation, standardization, and optimization capability
- Project and change management capability to drive sustained change and process improvement
- An excellent communicator who is experienced working in a matrixed organization to identify and influence key global stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external technology partners to drive improvements in technology delivery
- Experience of systems integration and systems automation: ideally within an HR context
- Ability to work collaboratively with non-technology vendors
- Ability to work across geographies and teams to influence and drive change and standardization
- A working knowledge of the global mobility lifecycle would be beneficial
- Educated to degree level
