• Lead the Finance Operations unit to deliver reliable, accurate, timely accounting and reporting services to customers. The Finance Operations unit comprises of consolidation and reporting, general accounting, treasury accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Tax admin compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain an effective working relationship with clients and focus on exceeding customer expectations.
• Responsible for setting the unit’s direction, establishing strategies, and continuously assessing effectiveness of the organizational design.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining strong internal controls, policy standards and simple processes.
• Ensure work progress by monitoring and controlling personnel activities through implementation of resource planning, workload distribution, employee work plans, performance measurement and evaluation.
• Manage and develop a highly engaged team thriving during times of change.
• Lead change by using multiple change management strategies.
• Using service provider’s metrics, track, and report key performance measures.
• Communicate results to relevant stakeholders highlighting any issues, root causes, and develop solutions in conjunction with other functional process owners. Relentlessly act to remove barriers for the team.
• Ensure implementation of AC Energy group policies and processes.
• Research, assess, develop, and implement best practice procedures for the different finance workstreams to facilitate efficient execution of tasks, with a clear focus on continuous improvement.
• Identify, assess, and execute, automation and use of MS digital tools in various finance processes.
• Work with auditors and risk managers to ensure effective compliance with governance processes.

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With 15+ years of Finance experience and 5+ years of managing large teams, preferably in a business process outsource or shared services environment
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Basic knowledge and experience in implementing Automation and Digital tools
• Team player, with a culture of learning together with peers, leaders, and customers.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to details with the ability to drive actions/recommendations and meet deliverables.
• Willing to work at the office 3-4x a week or as required
