Reporting directly to the Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, the Director(s), Compliance Shared Services provides strategic direction and leadership for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Corporate Compliance Program, Compliance policies, process and control activities related to but not limited to, the following Compliance functions: These functions may be shared by one or more Director(s), Compliance Shared Services.

  • Collaborates with Compliance leaders and other stakeholders across the enterprise In the development of a comprehensive, enterprise-wide compliance program that meets and exceeds the expectations of State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidance.
  • Is responsible and provides direction for Compliance activities designed to prevent, detect, and correct regulatory and contractual non-compliance.
  • Manages a shared services team that is responsible for developing tools and processes that enable consistent administration of core compliance program accountabilities across health plans and lines of business, which may include areas such::
    • Compliance Committees and Governance Committees
    • Executive reporting
    • Code of Conduct and Ethics
    • Policies and Procedures
    • Compliance Risk Assessments
    • Compliance Work Plans, Auditing Plans, and Monitoring Plans
    • Compliance Audits
    • Compliance Monitoring
    • Regulatory Change Management
    • Regulatory and contractual research
    • Regulatory Audit Management
    • Corrective Action Plans
    • Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigations
    • Compliance Training and Education
    • Compliance Communications, including Compliance Week
    • New business support
  • Acts as a liaison for Corporate Compliance with other functions and departments across the enterprise

The Director, Compliance Shared Services may be asked to assist with various other Compliance-related tasks, functions, and interdisciplinary projects or workgroups as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Advanced degree and/or JD preferred
  • Certified in Health Care Compliance preferred
  • 5 to 7 years in a managed health care environment, including experience in the areas of compliance oversight.
