We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim’s Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim’s UK & Pilgrim’s Food Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.
As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.
As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Record to Report Senior Manager to join our Pilgrim’s Shared Services team! Reporting to the Group Financial Controller – Record to Report based in Craigavon on a hybrid working model.
- To provide accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders including the Group Financial Controller RTR, to the Financial Services Leadership team and Pilgrim’s Pride US;
- Ensuring consistency of accounting policy and Sox controls across the European businesses;
- To meet all key financial reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly & annual reporting. Facilitation of all statutory requirements including audit & HMRC disclosures;
- Manage a team of accountants in delivering the reporting requirements;
- Perform a key role in managing the relationships between the European Business Units and the financial services department.
- To support the Group Financial Controller – Record to report in delivering all targets and objectives.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Senior BU finance staff, external & internal auditors.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and its members to maximise their performance in order to achieve the objectives of the organisation.
