The Sr. HR Manager, QSC will provide direction and oversight to the HR Managers and hourly team members for the QSC plant operations, supporting our organization’s purpose, core beliefs and values in achievement of the business strategy. The Sr. HR Manager will provide daily support, overseeing hourly recruiting, consistency of implementation of policies and practices with hourly team members, and supporting activities and solutions that drive employee engagement and positive employee relations, reinforcing our positive culture across QSC operations. The Sr. HR Manager will apply data analytics for decision making and will bring best practice experience for team development.

  • Provide daily support to HR Managers for hourly team members in QSC plant operations, ensuring consistent application and implementation of LT Corp policies, programs and practices. Ensure and uphold company policies and programs for compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the plant operation fosters an inclusive workplace enabling all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential. Connect with team members to encourage and reinforce a positive work environment and strengthen our positive culture.
  • Oversee employee engagement programs and activities with the HR Managers, supporting and driving positive employee relations with hourly team members. Identify hourly employee needs and solutions to resolve problems in support of our positive culture.
  • Provide daily support to the HR Managers for hourly recruiting, ensuring a consistent and successful process supporting marketing and sourcing strategies, interviewing, assessment, and selection process and onboarding that ensure compliance and positive employee relations with QSC team members.
  • Develop new hire orientation and onboarding based on best practices for hourly team members that supports reinforcement of the positive culture, safety first mindset, and creates engagement and a strong, positive start for all hourly employees.
  • Effectively coach and guide HR Managers to interpret and execute consistent company time off policies across the organization, including Attendance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Time, and various Leaves of Absence.
  • Effectively coach and guide the HR team in managing truck drivers, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices and supporting programs that reinforce safety and compliance for the team and organization.
  • Oversee and maintain data tracking and analysis that support hourly recruiting and hiring, turnover and retention, and hourly performance in support of merit and annual incentives.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating LT Corp’s “How we Lead” (servant leader, devoted, resilient, growth mindset, team player, trustworthy, fun-loving) leadership traits and reinforcing LT Corp’s purpose, core beliefs, and values to all team members.
  • Lead and direct the HR team, coaching and developing for positive employee relations, best practice knowledge, managing performance and accountability, and coaching team members in “How we Lead” to achieve results and reinforce the positive culture.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Expertise for payroll, data, benefits, and talent management to develop and deliver HR strategies, processes, tools and systems that support the hourly team members in plant operations.
  • Partner with the Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) COE to implement and support health and safety goals, best practices and programs within the operations.
  • Review programs and policies to ensure new idea generation and best practices are implemented as needed and where possible.
  • Requires flexible work schedule to support day and night shift.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an HR leadership role demonstrating effective leadership including as a plant HR Manager and leading HR generalists. Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Strong experience in Human Resources practices with demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practice solutions that support talent management and meet the needs of the hourly team members.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing positive employee relations strengthening a positive culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with HR professionals in a shared services environment (Centers of Expertise – COE’s).
  • Experience in data preparation and presenting analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Strong and demonstrated change management capability for driving innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable change through people.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.

Education and Certification Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in human resources, organization development or related field
