In this exciting and challenging position, you will lead a team of talented IT professionals responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge digital health solutions that transform patient care and elevate our Trust to the forefront of technological advancement.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the in-house application development teams and DBAs, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s Digital Health and IM&T Strategies.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Collaborate closely with various teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security and RPA and Automation to collaborate and safeguard the Trust’s core Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other in-house developed products.
• Guide the evolution of the Trust’s in-house developments and architecture, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Proven track record of success in leading and managing complex IT development teams.
• A strategic mindset, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into innovative and effective technology solutions.

• Educated to master’s level, an equivalent professional qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience, within an IT discipline or similar.
• Demonstrates in depth professional knowledge in information systems, staff management, project management acquired through training and experience over a significant period to master’s degree Level.
