• Provide leadership direction- build a strong and inspired finance team, through active coaching, development, collaboration and role modeling to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Be a strong Strategic Business Partner to the site GM/MD and the senior management team and recommend long-range financial plans to meet business and financial objectives and work toward a collective vision for the site.
• Oversee and drive all facets of the yearly financial planning cycle, annual strategic plan (3-year long range plan), the annual planning process (for the following fiscal year), regular forecasting cycles and strategic planning, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
• Deliver financial insights (e.g., cost base, variance, savings, inventory, KPIs, etc.) and collaborate with functional leaders to achieve financial goals. Proactively take corrective action where appropriate.
• Act as a strong financial partner to the headquarters finance department (based in Switzerland) and ensure efficient financial and operating controls for the group / HQ (including internal audit and controls) to warrant compliance with financial regulations, standards and reporting requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risk.
• Create and maintain financial models and support strategic initiatives including ad hoc reporting and analysis to optimize financial system and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and government agencies such as MIDA, IRB, PDC & etc and support government incentive negotiations.

• Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance with professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Finance Director within a larger MNC firm with evidence of achievement in translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Finance leader with a forward-looking mindset to contribute to overall business strategy. Strategic insight as well as hands- on accounting and financial management skills.
• A proven people manager with a measurable track record of creating successful teams in service delivery with tangible achievements in improvement and change management.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and impact key stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrate ability to excel in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute.
• Exceptionally strong personal initiative, good business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity.
