We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
- Lead the establishment of a common shared service team for building and maintaining shared services in adherence to HSBC global standards and reference architecture.
- Drive discussions and initiatives to provide shared platforms for different service lines, promoting synergy and collaboration across the organization.
- Optimize engineering strategies for HBCN.
- Ensure code quality for applications through code review.
- Conduct application architecture reviews to ensure adherence to HSBC global standards, reference architecture, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on application architecture design in key projects.
- Support in diagnosing root causes and designing solutions for application errors.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement Group Technology Strategy.
- Manage vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support in risk management and internal audit activities.
- Align and comply with relevant processes, policies, and procedures.
- Strong leadership skill and experience, including task and time management skills
- At least 10 years’ IT working experience, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment
- Hands-on skills and experience in software design and development using Java, Kubernetes, distributed technologies/database.
- Experience in cloud technology is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think under pressure.
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with business partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work across organizations at all levels.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Strong written communications skills – ability to clearly document the current state and recommendations.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin.
