  • Accountable for the entire engagement delivery of Global Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense operations
  • Provide strategic leadership ensuring that function goals are consistent with the overall Finance Organization’s goal.
  • Gather, understand, and present Key Performance Indicators and SLAs with a focus on providing high quality service as well as transparency to customers
  • Overall control owner for accounts payable process. Drives compliance on SOX and process controls
  • Work closely and collaborate with key Finance and Accounting stakeholders, Procurement, IT, and third-party consulting resources across various locations and drives overall governance for Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense.
  • Identify, recommend, champion, and execute opportunities to enhance existing Source to Pay processes taking into consideration the requirements of the overall Finance organization.
  • Build a strong team focusing around customer service, accuracy, continuous improvement, on-time payments, and personal development of team members
  • Select and hire employees for AP team; on-board new members; set objectives for the team and evaluate their performance; organize regular job-related training for the team as well as other staff management duties
  • Manage the workload of individual team members
  • Ensure robust back-up system within function to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications

Education: Candidate must holds bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or equivalent. A certified public accountant is a plus

Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of 10 yrs of relevant experience in Accounts Payable process
  • More than 3 years experience in managing a global Accounts Payable team in shared service set-up
  • Experience of developing implementing and monitoring an effective SLA framework
  • Business Process Improvement and/or Business Process Reengineering Experience
  • Excellent People management
  • Strong skills in relationship building and problem solving
  • Detail-oriented but able to quickly grasp the big picture
  • Strong understanding of the Source to Pay business process.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others.
  • Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs.
  • Knowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP and/or Oracle)
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Able to work in Technopark Binan City, Laguna.
