The Project Controller supports full Project finance with project managers and business leaders. He creates a strong analysis on project P&L and control and own a business unit with portfolios.
- Partners with a team that manages a project portfolio; primarily owns and ensures compliance with core operational and systems procedures.
- No direct team and may manage offshore resources.
- Supports business plan modelling, challenges assumptions, produces strong analysis.
- Covers Project P&L
- Prepares powerful and accurate reports and insights.
- Supports monthly forecasts, runs the modelling, and identifies risks for further discussion with BLs.
- Influences the risks and opportunities register.
- Supports accounting processes across portfolio financials, including revenues, profit, sales, working capital, invoicing, cash management.
- Supports bid delivery, project mobilisation.
- Adopts Project Finance policies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and internal controls, notably for project mobilisation and closure.
- Direct responsibility for invoicing, WIP/Debt Ageing, escalation of balance sheet risks
- Responsible for project set-ups, closures, code administration, time-booking, variations
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or any business-related course
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Exposure in Shared Service or Multinational environment is required.
- Advanced Knowledge and experience in ERP Systems is preferred.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) is required.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Language.
- Strong analytical, research capabilities and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge conventional thinking.
- Ability to independently organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and come to conclusions for recommendations.
- Continuous improvement mindset – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service repetition.
- A detail-oriented and passionate to acquire, share, and disseminate new information and knowledge.
