To deliver HR business partnering service to the support group, senior managers/directors and leads, both at strategic and operational level, to ensure the people related issues processes and initiatives are appropriately managed by the line and that business intelligence is gained by HR to respond effectively.
• Contribute to and help drive the overall HR strategy, to ensure alignment to the business strategy
• Sufficiently engage in business plans to enable them to develop and deliver appropriate people strategy
• Promote a high performance management culture
•Drive and support alignment of all HR related processes, policies and procedures with the business and best practice
• Ensure HR metrics are effectively utilized with business units to respond appropriately to people priorities, issues and challenges and to drive HR agenda
• Contribute to the development of policies, processes and procedures in line with QBE HR Strategy, to best meet the needs of the business
• Successfully manage annual process for respective business areas (e.g. salary review, PMP rating, talent review session) to ensure effective and compliant application
•Monitor industry/market trends and provide recommendations for change/improvement to internal ways of working accordingly to best anticipate and respond to changes
• Build strong and trusted relationships with Executives, clients and business leaders to raise credibility and to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of business strategies, key business priorities, issues and challenges
•Provide general HR advice and guidance to the line to help ensure HR services and GSSC’s management of its people resources is cost efficient, effective and compliant with best practice/regulatory standards.
• Identify and communicate potential people issues and opportunities to influence the business to recognize and take appropriate action
• Participate in change management initiatives to identify and ensure any people issues are appropriately considered by the business in both design and implementation
• Develop and implement initiatives to address relevant people issues of the business supported
• Participate in key HR projects to support the achievement of the overall HR strategy
• Manage complaints filed thru the action line, this includes reviewing and investigating allegation, providing recommendations and acting on them accordingly
•Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the department
• Active career management and self development
• Plan own priorities and activities to ensure delivery is in line with HR plan requirements
Required Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
• 6 years relevant experience

• Ability to work independently, with limited direction and guidance
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable dealing with all levels of management

• Preferably has handled a team
• Preferably worked in a BPO setting
Preferred Knowledge
• Broad and general HR knowledge
• Fundamental knowledge of organizational development techniques and change management disciplines
• Basic knowledge of PH labor legislations
• Sufficient understanding of both internal business drivers and industry dynamics
