At the request of a client, I am looking for a detail-oriented individual at the Corporate Controller level looking for an exciting challenge with endless opportunities. The Controller will oversee the company’s financial records and accounting personnel and lead a department that will function as a Shared Services Division providing services and information to the Owners, Investors and Management across several different platforms.
The Company is somewhat unique and manages over $100 Million of investments in real estate, manufacturing and other companies. In addition, the Company is looking to raise and invest an additional $100 Million over the next four (4) years. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company’s financial accounts. You will work directly with the Managing Partners and the Executive Management Team and be involved in due diligence on additional acquisitions, as well as other projects as they arise.
- Manage, monitor and project cash flow from multiple companies.
- Manage an accounting staff with 5 to 10 direct reports.
- Manage banking relationships
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Maintain compliance with government agencies
- Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or more than 10 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluency in Yardi, QuickBooks and any additional accounting software is helpful.
- Understand or worked in an EOS Company.
- Real estate experience is required.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Family office or Private Equity experience will be a PLUS.
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
