Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with our client to appoint their new Head of People. After the completion of a successful merger and re-brand, the organisation is looking for a passionate and committed HR professional to help drive new and exciting initiatives across the organisation. This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis and requires the candidates to come into their new modern office in Aldgate at least twice a week.

The Head of People is a key role in an ambitious organisation that is driving transformation in lung health. Delivering their strategy requires them to think about the way they recruit, develop, manage, and reward their people. They also need to harness the best of what they currently have, whilst evolving the organisation to ensure it operates like the charity it is and the charity it aspires to be. In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of People will have a significant role to play in driving forward these changes and enabling the organisation to achieve its best.

This will include the implementation of a People Strategy rooted in the organisation’s values, behaviours, and enablers framework. At the heart of this is their inclusive culture, and you will be a champion for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, leading others to help them achieve their aims.

The role has responsibility for all People functions, as well as facilities management, and line management of the Internal Communications Manager, who provides a shared service across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and engaged HR professional with significant experience of leading a successful HR function. You will have a deep understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion with a real appreciation of why it matters to an organisation. You will be an effective leader and line manager, with the ability to harness and develop talent within your team. Finally, you will be comfortable with engaging with stakeholders across the organisation at all levels to deliver positive outcomes in employee experience and EDI.
