We are now looking for a Head of Shared Service Center on behalf of our client for an exciting and unique opportunity to be part of a change journey. You will be involved in establishing and leading a joint finance function within an international company. In the role of Head of Shared Service Center, you will have overall responsibility for establishing and running a new Shared Service Center. Your team will handle accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, as well as internal and external reporting. The main focus is on quality assurance of the company’s accounting and reporting to the Group function. You are expected to lead and develop your team while interacting with various business areas within the company and handling external contacts. You have teams in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Balticum. In the role, you report to the CFO and VP in Norway.

  • Establish, operate and develop Financial Services (reporting, accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable).
  • Management and management of a small team.
  • Monthly reporting to the group.
  • Proactively identify, develop and implement effective and standardized processes, policies and internal controls.
  • Tax and VAT issues.
  • Responsible for preparing reports and tax reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Participate in developing, evaluating and recommending improvements to processes, policies and internal controls.
  • Active participation in projects as needed.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Shared Service Center on behalf of our client. We see that you have several years of experience from a similar role within the Shared Service function and have previously successfully implemented processes. Not only are you strong in system usage and have professional competence in IFRS, local GAAP, income tax and VAT, but you have also demonstrated your commitment and leadership through years of experience leading and navigating change environments. It is advantageous if you have built and developed teams and have experience from mergers of various legal entities in a Nordic environment. Your commitment to accounting modernization and system change will be a big plus. In this role as Head of Shared Service Center, you will benefit from your structured and orderly qualities. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of collaboration, has coaching leadership, and is clear and confident as a person. You need to be open to change and have the ability to lead in change. As the team is spread over several Nordic countries, we see that you are confident leading remotely and have good knowledge of English.
