• Bring Efficiency and Value: Play crucial role in controlling, planning and reporting of RC Global Headquarter (“Campus”) performance and overall Shared Service operations. Closely work with Finance business partners to coordinate preparation, analysis and confirmation of actual results, accruals and provision, bring insights out of it. Consolidate and control plans and forecasts in P&L. Control and comment Campus impact on BS (i.e. capital investments). Act as a business partner for RC Global GM. Provide Input to CSE/Work council.
• Be guardian of accounting quality, company assets and compliance to internal and external rules. Gives input for cross-charge out of Campus expenses. Ensure submission in corporate systems (1NAV, HFM) of reliable and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance) in line with Royal Canin France and Mars Global Finance Services standards and guidelines. Perform relevant Balance Sheet and Blackline reconciliations. Design and execute control in line with ICE (internal control excellence) under the area of responsibility. Keep clean master data in the areas under control (cost collectors, etc), act as a 1NAV key user. Recommend cost treatment for postings of accounting team. Work on Auditors, Government and External Organizations requests, related to Campus and Shared Service.
• Manage stakeholders: focus on value creation and service excellence with the user centricity concept in a heart. With internal and external partners communicate performance, build SLA (service level agreement) and feedback loop on it, develop and execute joint plans on process improvement. Ensure alignment and connectivity of stakeholders throughout all departments in regard to Shared Service activities.
• Build expertise on Controllership area, exchange best practice internally and externally, act as a SME (subject meter expert) in Controllership area, ensure back-up process and sustainable knowledge management (process maps, desktop procedures, etc). Implement new reporting requirements, regulations. Integrate new businesses in the scope.
• Be agile and be ready to react on a new business challenges and requirements. Adopt processes and systems (1NAV, RC HFM) for the changes. Give requested Input to projects.

Education & Professional Qualifications

• University /Master degree in accounting / Finance or equivalent field of study (Required)
• Professional designation (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) is an asset (Preferred)
• MS Office package knowledge (Preferred)

Knowledge / Experience

• 3 years+ of finance experience (FinOps, Accounting, Payroll, Supply, Governance & control, business partnership) (Required)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices (Required)
• Fluent in both French and English (Required)
• Comfort with diving into ambiguous business questions to understand key issues and structure analytical path, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (Required)
• 1Navision Experience or Equivalent ERP system (Preferred)
• Project management (including stakeholders management and change management) (Preferred)
