The successful candidate will work as part of the Group Finance team and will draw from experience to ensure a high level of financial control is applied across entities that provide Group Support Services to the wider IQ EQ Group, including reporting in line with the Group’s monthly close process, balance sheet control and reconciliation, VAT management and preparation of annual financial statements. The candidate will also be responsible for the calculation of recharges for Group Support Services in line with the Group’s transfer pricing policy.

• Monthly production of Management reporting for certain Management companies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day activities
• Monthly reporting on adherence to the Minimum Controls checklist
• Ownership of the Group recharges process, running the cost allocation model for Group Support Services through Alteryx and updating allocation keys in line with changes in transfer pricing policy and levels of shareholder costs. Liaison with Country finance teams to ensure understanding of the nature and quantum of the amounts recharged.
• Oversight of Shared Service Centre recharges process ensuring GCD Sales invoices and Cluster recharges are accurately produced, accounted for and reconciled.
• Production of Sale and Leaseback schedules for Management companies
• Prepare annual financial statements for management companies and supporting schedules

• Preparation of the quarterly IOM Group VAT return
• Preparation of the annual tax substance reports and inserts for the IOM management company

• Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. ACT/ACCA/ACA/CFA)
• IOM Vat and tax reporting knowledge
• Experience with Accounting Systems, (SUN, Alteryx and Sharperlight would be advantageous)
• Experience of building strong working relationships and managing senior stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with high level of attention to detail
