Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Principal, Budget and Reporting to lead our Budget and Reporting team, playing a pivotal role in overseeing management reporting.
Reporting directly to the Director, Finance & Shared Services, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Senior Managers across the HPCA, 15 NSW Health Professional Councils, HealthShare NSW and NSW Ministry of Health.
The successful candidate will manage a team of management accountants, providing leadership for insightful information crucial for decision-making, budgeting, financial analysis, and forecast whilst emphasising continuous improvement and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership in recognized professional accounting bodies (e.g., CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand)
- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash projections, and management reporting, preferably in a multi-entity environment with cost allocations
- Proven ability to partner with key stakeholders while maintaining collaborative and effective relationships
- Demonstrated skill in managing staff, fostering a positive team culture, and driving business improvement processes
